Be Kind to a Pet Owner Today on Pet Owner’s Day!

On Mother’s Day, Dad and the kids may cook breakfast and delight Mom with breakfast in bed. Ditto in reverse for Father’s Day.

What does one do to celebrate Pet Owner’s Day?
Can’t really see the pet dog, pet horse or pet iguana bringing a tray of goodies to their owner, though our pet cat is often bearing gifts of birds from the garden. A pet turtle would be best suited for this breakfast delivery service though it may end up arriving by dinner… could be a bit of a wait.

Hmmm. A bit of a puzzle. So how do folk celebrate pet Owner’s Day and do pet owners even know about it? Some suggestions:

  • Give extra-wide smiles to the owners of pets as you meet them along your daily travels
  • Offer a free pet walking or pet sitting day to pet owner friends for a nice break
  • Pet owners themselves can perhaps have a brew with their pet… since there are now brews for pets! Yes, that’s the ticket. A nice afternoon break, sharing a couple of beer on the deck with Fido. Yes!Pampered pooches and dandy dogs can now share a brew with their pet people. Non-alcoholic beer for pets is marketed under different brands in the US, Denmark, Germany and other places world-wide.
