Watching Fred and his fish friends idle around their ancient aquarium has given me the idea to check out prices of new aquariums. Time for something larger and more elegant. I think Fred senses my plan as he hangs about staring at me with some (what I think is) consternation and, dare I say, hope.

Actually he likely senses my excitement about the newest uber-styled glass aquariums manufacturered in Italy. These fall under the heading of “it’s about time”. Produced by Hagen, these beautiful fish tanks have seamless rounded corners that give full-out viewing. This sleek sophisticated styling willl really accent my modern decor much more than my current aquarium which really is quite pathetic the more I look at it.

So Fred, today is the day we check into a new aquatic home for you and the group. Fluval Osaka is the brand name we’ll be asking about. Okay Fred, settle down. Glub, glub. Did I just get a high fin? Oooo, high jumps too!

From my research it looks like there are 3 models from which to choose. I think it is posible to buy the aquarium on its own, but I will likely get the whole aquarium kit so that everything is updated at once. Even new gravel and plants just to give Fred and co a lift. Okay… it will make me happier too.
