Ongoing studies bring us more news about the positive affect pets can have on us at every age and for all walks of life. From the calming influence of a Guide Dog for autistic children and their family to the happiness-factor blood-pressure-reducing effect of visiting pet programs for the shut-ins in hospitals, retirement villas and nursing homes, the perceived and real value of our pets continues to increase.

One of our goals in this pet blog and on our main website at www.MillionDollarPetPix.com 
is to celebrate pets with other pet lovers and pet owners around the world. To share pet stories, pet photos and pet information that celebrates the wonder of pets and that promotes responsible pet ownership in a fun and positive way.

This is exactly the way everyone feels about their special pet(s) and is the reason why we created the Million Dollar PetPix Time Capsule… so that pet lovers everywhere could have an easy-to-access central stage to show off their pet to the world. No signing up for visitors to see pets. No endless searching for someone’s pet, as is required on most social networking sites.  Just front-and-center fame with a twist.

Scrolling over a star on the surface of the PetPix Time Capsule instantly produces a beautiful photo of that star pet. A simple click on the star lets you enter the pet time capsule to the corner of fame for that pet! There the pet’s story and up to three photos are displayed.  The twist?  Kind of a “Where’s Waldo” type of game to find a pet through scrolling over the stars. As more stars are added the game just gets more intriging…

For those to busy to enjoy the star scroll around, there is a menu directory for each category of pet in which each star pet is listed alphabetically. Simple, easy and quick.
