In reviewing the latest animal-related news headlines, we came across about a pet hero story with a difference.  Most people do not have to worry about being attacked by forest creatures, unless they are actually out in the woods for whatever reason.

Floods in the southern US States may bring the occasional threat of alligators in yards; certainly not usual, but always possible. Kanagoos are not known for attacking people, but for an elderly lady living on a farm just north of Sydney Australia, it may have been “game over” were it not for the heroic intervention by pet dog. When a rogue kangaroo attacked her, this woman’s brave little dog jumped in to save her.
