Bambi and Bob the Beagle?

The age-old concern about cat flaps and dog doors letting in other critters has now found an all-time high example… can you imagine coming home to a fawn relaxing on the sofa with your pet pooch?

Well this supposedly happened near Deep Creek in Bittinger, MD… It is said that a Beagle (not sure of his name so we call him Bob!) brought in a new-found forest friend… through the dog door. Am sitting here wondering just what the dog door and cat flap makers will invent next to minimize this risk. Can imagine all sorts of rodents and reptiles using this access and if a deer can actually fit through (doubt it) what about a bear cub… or just other cats and dogs? LOL!

Snopes.com is still investigating to see if this is a real story or a possible hoax, using a stuffed toy deer. And there is lots of conjecture on other sites such as this blog, but one thing is for sure… it is a cute picture!
