Thanks to an entertaining re-run segment on the very naughty Graham Norton Show, we have now been introduced to a new and a not-a-little bizarre addition to the pet product industry…

This over-the-top (literally) product for cats (and dogs) did have us laughing as the photos presented on the show really had the look of feline movie mavens.

Three creative and enterprising souls have given cat owners a new and colorful outlet for disposable income. They have created Kitty Wigs… just wigs for cats… in Pink Passion, Bashful Blond, Electric Blue, Silver Fox  though in some photos the wigs are also worn by dogs… Since their launch Kitty Wigs have been seen on the Norton Graham Show, Anderson Cooper 360 ( he was in total disbelief and thought this was some sort of prank), Harper’s Bazaar Japan!, Business Week and Cosmo Girl.
