Ellen is no mutt!

On one of the most fun Ellen shows recently was when Portia was the guest of honor. We howled with delight when they played  The Newlywed Game with another couple.

Ellen and Portia each had to guess the other’s answers to specific questions posed prior to the game. When asked what breed Ellen might be if she were reincarnated as a dog, Portia guessed a mutt. Ouch, ouch, ouch and bow-wow!

Ellen was hoping you’d guess Yellow Lab! Portia, we forgive you, since you then said the mutt would be a Yellow Lab mix.

We agree with Ellen… she certainly has a lot of the wonderful traits of Yellow Labs such as, loyalty, protectiveness, a humorous, fun and engaging spirit, high curiosity, good tempered, very agile, hardworking, intelligent and affectionate.

Other traits of Yellow Labs such as being an adaptable and devoted companion, keen, biddable and with a very strong will to please will no doubt be found as their relationship grows. “-)

Ellen’s protective trait is shining through in her most recent venture to help animals…
She’s giving them the shirt off her back! Ellen has announced that she is selling her (show) clothes on Ebay with the proceeds going to the Humane Society (HSUS) and it is already a success with some excellent funds coming in… Check out the details here… “Whatca Sellin’ Ellen?“

Having recently been the winner of the prestigious Wyler Award from the Genesis Awards ceremony last month I was hoping that she would have specified the Hollywood Office in particular to get the proceeds of this auction…  what a nice tie-in that would be!

In any event, we say “Bravo” once again to Ellen for her great idea and activity and to all the bidders who are making this work “for the animals”.
