Help for Flying or Cruising Pets
Former commercial flight attendant creates pet first aid kit…
It is quite common today to have numerous small pets flying in-cabin on commercial flights around the world. But what happens if any of these pets become ill or requires other personal care such as a toilet break?
This question bothered a former flight attendant who found no that there was no answer to this need. It helped her to come up with a solution to help pet owners traveling with their pet.
Founder and owner Patty McWhite states, “I have encountered pets on board the aircraft many times and there has never been a medical or supply kit for them.”
With help from her veterinarian, they came up with the contents of the kit to be able to attend to any need a dog or cat may have while traveling. The JET PET kit and Quick trip Bag were developed. The kit satisfies the “what ifs” while traveling:
- Pet gets hurt
- Pet has to go potty
- Pet needs food or water
- Pet needs a walk
- Pet gets dirty
- Owner needs to remove pet hair from clothing
