Despite poop-scoop signage, articles, comments from the public and good common sense, some dog owners are still making it tough on the rest of us by their negligence in picking up after their dogs.

Aaaggggggghhhhh! One wonders what else can be done to make the point…How to get more dog owners to find a conscience and opt for better habits about cleaning up after their pooch?

This is not a “Miss Manners” concern. The dog-poop concern goes well beyond the obvious visual disgust… it threatens the quality of our very own drinking water and the health of our youngsters.

With so many poop-scoop products on the market one wonders why this is still such a problem. Why on almost every walk this summer we’ve encountered evidence of the non-caring attitude of numerous dog owners/walkers in our neighborhood.
