Allergies to animals?

Having allergies to pets is a problem for many people, and when it comes to your children having allergies, life can become a challenge in many ways, not the least of which is trying to appease a youngster’s pleas to get a family pet.

While there are many dogs that are now touted as hypoallergenic, some of which we are told have no dander and have hair as opposed to fur, there is still always the question of being allergic to the pet saliva… cats that lick themselves and dogs that lick everyone around them, or drool…

Pet fish can be a good alternative for people with pet allergies. Fish can make amazing pets! The beauty of fish can be captivating and the company of swimming fish, tranquil company. For children, having a pet fish can be a real education in learning responsibility, as fish care, while not onerous does require attention to detail.
