I was intrigues by the title… “A Three Dog night”. Thomas aptly uses to explain the intensity of her life experience, which is explained by Australian folklore/history that tells us that Australian Aborigines slept with their dogs for warmth on cold nights, the coldest being a “three dog night”.

Choosing a Horse Stable

On a recent drive I came across one of the most lovely horse-boarding centres I’ve seen in years. Tucked neatly away on a country side road but within a fifteen-minute drive to the city, this equine paradise had everything I could want for my horse… room to roam, shade, lots of lush green grass, large level paddocks, trails along with an outdoor and indoor exercise ring.
