Future of Obamas’ Pooch Secured in White House!

Guests of the Ellen DeGeneres show got to enjoy the upbeat and friendly visit by guest Michelle Obama. During the course of the conversation, Ellen reminded Michelle of a special promise. In true Ellen style, with fun and elan, the chat ended with a real show-stopper! A gift for the Obamas of a top-notch home for the future pooch! No ordinary dog house was this! Pretty Pony with a Smiling Foot!

We came across a true story in May of a pony that was rescued from the ravages of hurricane Katrina and how Pam Kaster, a Red Cross manager at the time came to write a book about the amazing people who helped Molly the pony. It is a story of pets, people and heroes, of survival, caring, and ingenuity.

Meet Molly. She’s a gray speckled pony who was abandoned by her owners when Katrina hit southern Louisiana, USA . She spent weeks on her own before finally being rescued and taken to a farm where abandoned animals were stockpiled.
