We were very saddened to learn about the tragic end of 17 dogs that were killed in an accidental propane explosion at an eastern Pennsylvania kennel. The pain and suffering to all involved is unimaginable. Our hearts go out to all of you.

It is not unusual for whales to mistake boats for their mother. In speaking with an experienced sailor who knows this to be true, we’ve learned that this is one of the reasons that boat bottoms are painted blue or red so that these large creatures do not take an interest in a boat. Somehow this baby Humpback whale got separated from its mother and now has a slim chance of surviving.
Kanagoos are not known for attacking people, but for an elderly lady living on a farm just north of Sydney Australia, it may have been “game over” were it not for the heroic intervention by pet dog. When a rogue kangaroo attacked her, this woman’s brave little dog jumped in to save her.
