Why Dogs Eat Snow

At first glance, the question could just as easily be “Why do my kids eat snow?”, for it would appear to be a question of natural curiosity or great thirst. For anyone who done vigorous outdoor sports in winter such as cross-country skiing, tabogganing or snowshoeing that answer would be thirst… and maybe just the fun of eating a handful of snow.
