Hero Dog Saves Owner From ‘Roo Attack

Kanagoos are not known for attacking people, but for an elderly lady living on a farm just north of Sydney Australia, it may have been “game over” were it not for the heroic intervention by pet dog. When a rogue kangaroo attacked her, this woman’s brave little dog jumped in to save her.

Pretty Pony with a Smiling Foot!

We came across a true story in May of a pony that was rescued from the ravages of hurricane Katrina and how Pam Kaster, a Red Cross manager at the time came to write a book about the amazing people who helped Molly the pony. It is a story of pets, people and heroes, of survival, caring, and ingenuity.

Meet Molly. She’s a gray speckled pony who was abandoned by her owners when Katrina hit southern Louisiana, USA . She spent weeks on her own before finally being rescued and taken to a farm where abandoned animals were stockpiled.
